Cannabis seeds for the street: what to choose

Open ground saves money, but can add a hassle if you choose the wrong planting site or seeds. Let's talk about the latter in more detail.

Which cannabis seeds to choose for the street

Autoflowering. High viability and a short development period are the main advantages of this type. If the grower knows that he will not have much time for care or he lives in a region with not the most favorable climate (temperature fluctuations, rains and droughts, short summers), then it makes sense to take strains whose genetics are maximally adapted for survival. Autoflowers are usually ready to harvest within a couple of months after planting, and experienced growers use this property to have multiple harvests per year.

Resistant to mold and pests. Photoperiod bushes can also have such properties, for example, the genetics of Skunks and White Widows are perfectly adapted to survival on the street or poorly organized boxing. Buying soil in a store instead of using outdoor soil will help protect against pests.

Sativa or sativa dominant strains for hot weather. One caveat - Sativa type loves heat and humidity, so she thrives in the Mediterranean climate. In regions with a temperate climate, you should be attentive to watering. At the same time, there are very resilient sativa strains that forgive almost all mistakes - for example, AK-47.

Indica and indica dominant hybrids for mild drought and early chill. This type of cannabis does not tolerate prolonged heat very well, but it is not commonly found in temperate regions. But such bushes will surely survive the temperature drop to 15 degrees and below. An example of strong genetics is all Afghan (Kush genetics), as well as White Widow and Blueberry genetics.
