Cannabis Festival: the tenth Cannafest took place in Prague!
In early November, another Cannafest fair took place at PVA Expo Praha Letňany, perhaps the most respected and largest event of its kind. It brought together growers, hemp producers and guests who are not indifferent to cannabis culture under one roof. The festival itself is dedicated to exposing hemp textiles, dietary supplements, drinks, sweets and marijuana-based cosmetics. The guests were entertained in a variety of ways: from scientific lectures to competitions in folding joints for speed, even a special corner was equipped for children.
What pleased the visitors of Cannafest-2019?
Since 2010 (i.e. from the moment when the possession and cultivation of cannabis for personal use was legalized in the Czech Republic), a large-scale fest for cannabis growers has been held annually in Prague. Cannafest-2019 was the tenth in a row - and, perhaps, one of the most respectable and spectacular. The city was visited by more than 200 manufacturers of raw materials, agricultural equipment, merch and hemp products of all stripes (from hemp clothing to food).
There were also people deeply involved in the cultivation and legalization of cannabis. The guys who devoted their lives to working with bast crops shared their subtleties with novice growers. There was also time for scientists, businessmen, doctors and activists whose goal is to make medical marijuana more accessible to seriously ill patients from different countries. An important part of the conference was devoted to the topic of European drug policy and Israeli medicine (in terms of the use of marijuana).
In addition to the lecture hall, the guests of the fair could look into the chill-out zone and the hemp buffet, as well as walk around the trade and exhibition points. Even people initially not interested in shopping eventually could not resist buying souvenirs, unusual cannabis goodies and exclusive new products from European and American cannabis brands. There were also workshops where one could work with hemp hemp and other bast materials.
Whatever the visitor wants: to find out the prices of new varieties or try ice cream with hemp, listen to music or strain the brain at a seminar, he found something to do at PVA Expo Praha Letňany. The organizers of the jubilee - the tenth - festival did everything to make its visit memorable for every guest!
